Matt & Anthony from "America's Got Talent" are one of the top 40 acts competing on Season 4 of the NBC talent competition series. They are a dance and musician duo from New York, New York, who have made it into the quarterfinals.
Matt Lucas (age 22) and Anthony Morigerato (age 24) are a unique music and tap dance duo based out of New York City. They met five years ago when they were randomly selected to be college roommates. After quickly discovering that they had similar tastes and artistic tendencies, they began to work on what would later become the New York-based dance company, AM Dance Project. Anthony is the artistic director and Matt is the musical director. To pay the bills, Anthony works as a dance choreographer and teacher and Matt works in the financial aid office of a college. This duo can't wait to show America what they have up their sleeves.
Audition
Matt and Anthony take the stage armed with a guitar and tap shoes respectively. The judges are a little skeptical of the two guys until the act begins. The audience loves the combination of guitar, singing, and tap dancing. David Hasselhoff loves how unique the performance was and says they are awesome, and Sharon Osbourne says they are what the show is about. Piers Morgan agrees, and the duo are headed to Las Vegas on "America's Got Talent 4."
