Matt Hardy is a professional wrestler featured on USA Network's "WWE Raw."

As the insignia on his tights metaphorically symbolize, Matt Hardy's ultimate goal has always been to "turn the key of his destiny" and reach the competitive zenith of WWE.

When Matt Hardy first left his backyard training grounds of Cameron, North Carolina, and ventured into the squared circle alongside his brother Jeff, no one could've foreseen the countless tag team titles The Hardys would secure. As tag specialists with innate fraternal chemistry, Matt & Jeff's unmatched fortitude and innovative, risk-taking arsenal carried them to Superstardom by the time they competed in their first WrestleMania in 2000, site of the infamous Ladder Match for the World Tag Team Championship.

Apart from his sibling, Matt Hardy has achieved success in solo ranks as well, including United States, Hardcore, European and Cruiserweight Championship reigns. The greatest achievement, however, came in 2008 when Matt Hardy triumphed in a Championship Scramble Match to capture the ECW Title; his first taste of World Championship gold.

Matt Hardy constantly fought through adversity and controversy, including the sordid (and much revisited) affair involving his girlfriend Lita and best friend Edge. But after years of sustaining his "Will not die" mantra, it seemed Matt Hardy finally allowed a piece of himself to perish when he betrayed his brotherly bond with Jeff in 2009.

Devoured by jealousy and resentment, Matt Hardy made it his mission to essentially destroy his sibling - a task that included a high speed car crash, a pyrotechnics backfire and a housefire that resulted in the demise of Jeff's own dog. Perhaps the greatest loss served to Jeff by his own blood, though, was his defeat to Matt Hardy at the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania.

With a newly tailored look and attitude to match, Matt Hardy moved to Monday Night Raw in the 2009 Draft. Once again on his own, with Jeff's camaraderie swiftly severed, only sky is the limit for Matt Hardy.
