Matt Lucas's early television appearances include "The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer," "Shooting Stars," "Casanova," "Wind In the Willows" and "Kath and Kim." Matt Lucas also put his comedic skills to good use as a writer on the satirical television series, "Da Ali G Show." The funnyman's most triumphant success was when he partnered with Walliams to create and star in the Sony Award-winning radio show "Little Britain," which later became a highly successful BBC television series. The series and cast garnered countless honors, including three BAFTA TV Awards, six British Comedy Awards, two International Emmy Awards, three National Television Awards and two Royal Television Society Awards, just to name a few. With the show's growing popularity, Matt Lucas and Walliams toured in the UK and Australia with the sell-out show, "Little Britain Live!," playing to over 800,000 people. More recently, Matt Lucas's infectious laugh empire hopped the pond to shock and double over Americans with the HBO hit series "Little Britain USA," which has been picked up for a second season. Previously appearing on the big screen cult hit, "Shaun of the Dead," Matt Lucas can be seen next playing "Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum" alongside Johnny Depp in Disney's "Alice in Wonderland," directed by Tim Burton.
