Max Greenfield stars in "New Girl" on FOX as Schmidt. From executive producer Jake Kasdan, the comedy series tells the story of a quirky female teacher who, after being dumped, decides to move in with three men: a man-child, a player and a cynic.

A young actor, Max Greenfield has accumulated numerous television credits, having played recurring roles on "Veronica Mars," "Greek," and "Ugly Betty" as Nick Pepper. He has also guest-starred on many shows, including "Kath & Kim," "Gilmore Girls," "The O.C.," "Castle," "Lie to Me," "Undercovers," "Hot in Cleveland," and the recent "Melrose Place" remake.

His film credits include "Cross Bronx" and "When Do We Eat."

He graduated from Dobbs Ferry High School in 1998.
