Megalyn Echikunwoke, aka Megalyn E.K., stars in A&E's drama series "Damien" as Simone Baptiste.

On the big screen, Megalyn Echikunwoke stars in Walt Stillman's "Damsels in Distress" from Sony Pictures Classics, opposite Greta Gerwig, Adam Brody and Analeigh Tipton, and was seen in the independent drama "Who Do You Love," directed by Jerry Zaks.

On television, Echikunwoke starred as Dr. Tara Price in CBS's "CSI: Miami" and in the cable series "The 4400." For two seasons she portrayed President Palmer's daughter on the FOX's thriller "24." She played the recurring role of Holly Strickler in The CW's "90210." Other recurring arcs include "The Following," "Mind Games," "Made in Jersey" and "House of Lies."

Echikunwoke had a recurring role on the series "That '70s Show" and appeared opposite Alfre Woodard in the cable film "Funny Valentines." She was a regular on the television series "Like Family" and appeared on the cable series "For the People." Her additional television credits include "Law * Order: SVU," "Raising the Bar," "Veronica Mars," "ER," "Supernatural," "Boston Public" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."

Echikunwoke means "leader of men" and she is the granddaughter of a Nigerian tribal leader, which technically makes her African royalty. Although she is not Navajo, she was raised on the Navajo Indian Reservation in Chinle, Arizona, where her mother worked as a nurse.

In addition to singing and studying dance, Echikunwoke enjoys surfing and snowboarding.

She currently resides in Los Angeles.
