Melinda Ademi (American Idol)

Melinda Ademi from "American Idol 2011" is one of the contestants who won a golden ticket to Hollywood in Season 10 of the FOX reality competition series. Melinda ("American Idol 2011") auditioned in New Jersey. She sang "If I Ain't Got You" for her audition. All three judges voted yes to send her to Hollywood.

Melinda Ademi is a high school student from Yonkers, New York. Her family was originally from Kosovo, but her father won the green card lottery and leaped at the chance to take his family and leave their war-torn homeland in order to live the American dream. She is 16 years old.
