Michael Kostroff stars as Marshall Pike, the bumbling executive producer of "So Random," in the Disney Channel sitcom "Sonny With A Chance."

Michael Kostroff most recently played the unscrupulous gang lawyer, Maury Levy, for five seasons on HBO's "The Wire." Michael Kostroff's other television credits include "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip," "The Closer," "Eli Stone," "Without A Trace," Charmed," "Malcolm in the Middle," "ER," "West Wing," "Boston Legal" and "Veronica Mars." On the big screen Michael Kostroff had supporting roles in "The Soloist" and "Eagle Eye."

Michael Kostroff crisscrossed the country for starring roles in multiple theater productions including in the First National Tour of "The Producers" understudying the lead role of Max Bialystock. Michael Kostroff toured again in "Les Misérables," starring as the comically evil innkeeper Thénardier.

Born May 22 in New York, Michael Kostroff is the author of the popular book "Letters from Backstage," a funny, behind-the-scenes chronicle of life on the road with his two Broadway tours.
