Born and raised in San Mateo, California, Michael Trucco graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in theater arts and worked in the San Francisco Bay area for a couple of years until the desire to reach for bigger parts drove him to come to Los Angeles.
Trucco appeared in six plays over the next two years, but it was his performance in "A Few Good Men" that caught the attention of a talent manager and thus began his upward
A recurring role as Josh Hunter on "Beverly Hills, 90210" brought Trucco the recognition he sought. That was followed by his two seasons of playing Lt. Tucker "Spoon" Henry on "Pensacola: Wings of Gold," starring James Brolin. Trucco has guest-starred on numerous other series including, "One Tree Hill," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "CSI: Miami," NBC's "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" and "The Big Bang Theory."
Today, Trucco is best known for his portrayal of Samuel Anders in three seasons of "Battlestar Galactica."
Most recently, Trucco guest-starred in a multi-episodic arc as Det. Tom Demming on the series "Castle."
