Mike Starr recently began filming "The Apologist" with Sam Elliott. Starr's recent work includes numerous high quality independent films showing in film festivals all over the world including "Black Dynamite," "I Hate Valentine's Day," "Ca$h," "Buzzkill," "Wrong Turn at Tahoe," "Lonely Street," "Osso Busco" and "Chicago Overcoat," to name a few.

Always an impact player, Mike performed memorably for director Tim Burton opposite Johnny Depp in "Ed Wood"; with Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels for director Peter Farrelly in "Dumb and Dumber"; for director Sidney Lumet in "Gloria"; with Kevin Costner in "The Bodyguard"; with Dustin Hoffman in "Billy Bathgate"; with Morgan Freeman in "Lean on Me"; for the Coen Brothers in "Miller's Crossing"; for Spike Lee in "Summer of Sam" with Adrien Brody; for Barry Levinson in "The Natural" with Robert Redford. Other films include "Jersey Girl" (director Kevin Smith), "Monkeybone," "Uncle Buck," "Two If by Sea" and a starring role in "The Deli."

On television Mike performed most recently in major guest-starring roles on NBC's drama "Law & Order: SVU" and the comedy hit "The Office." His many notable performances include CBS's "CSI: NY," FOX's "The Good Guys," NBC's "Ed," CBS' "Joan of Arcadia," NBC's "The West Wing," ABC's "Scrubs," series recurring roles on "The Doyles," "Falcone," "EZ Street" and "Hardball," and two starring performances opposite Gene Wilder in "Murder in a Small Town" and "The Lady in Question" for A&E.

Mike performed on Broadway in the hit revival of Neil Simon's "The Odd Couple" with Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick. He made his original Broadway debut in "The Guys in the Truck" with Elliott Gould, and has performed on stage all over the U.S.
