Ming-Na stars as Camile Wray on Syfy's "Stargate Universe." Human resources executive Wray finds herself the highest ranking member of the International Oversight Committee (IOA) onboard the Destiny. Like many of those stranded on the ship, she is devastated by the separation from loved ones back on earth.

Ming-Na has long been a huge fan of science fiction, and is thrilled to be working on "Stargate Universe" as Camille Wray. "As a kid, I've always loved pretending I was in outer space on a cool spaceship!  Who knew one day that would be my job!  I smile every time I walk on the set!"

Ming-Na first won attention with her touching and critically acclaimed performance as June in the feature film "The Joy Luck Club."  Among her film credits are Mike Figgis' "One Night Stand" with Robert Downey Jr., "Streetfighter" as Chun-Li and, most recently, "Push" with Dakota Fanning.

She's the voice of Disney's heroine "Mulan," for which she won an Annie Award.  Ming-Na also voiced the lead role of Aki Ross in "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within."

Amongst her considerable television work, she is most noted for her portrayal of Dr. Jing-Mei "Deb" Chen on the hit NBC show "ER."  She has also been a series regular on "Vanished," "Inconceivable," and "The Single Guy."  Soap opera fans may remember her as Lien Hughes on "As The World Turns."  Most recently, she guest starred in "Boston Legal," "Private Practice," "George Lopez," and "Two and A Half Men."

Ming-Na graduated with high honors from Carnegie-Mellon University in drama, and fulfilled her dream of performing on Broadway in David Henry Hwang's Tony nominated play "Golden Child."  Theatre will always be her first love as an actress.

Ming-Na has been included in "People" magazine's list of the 50 most beautiful people and was named one of the 100 most influential Asian Americans of the past decade by aMagazine.

Her greatest joy is spending time with her husband and their two children.  Ming-Na also loves to cook, eat, play poker, do yoga, knit and learn something new every day.
