Minka Kelly portrays Lyla Garrity, Panther's cheerleader and girlfriend of star quarterback Jason Street, in the NBC television drama "Friday Night Lights."

No stranger to the camera lens, Minka Kelly has had a successful career in modeling and television commercials.

Minka Kelly had a recurring role on the WB's "What I Like About You," and has guest-starred on NBC's "American Dreams" and Fox's "Cracking Up." Minka Kelly's  television debut was on Nickelodeon's hit show "Drake and Josh."   Most recently, Minka Kelly completed shooting a lead role in the independent feature "The Dinner Party."
