Mo Collins plays the recurring role of Joan Callamezzo in NBC's "Parks and Recreation"

Born and raised in Minnesota, Mo Collins started her improv and sketch comedy career with Dudley Riggs Brave New Workshop in Minneapolis in 1985. In the late 1980s, she moved to Orlando to open both the MGM theme park and Comedy Warehouse on Pleasure Island. In 1997 she headed to Los Angeles with her son and soon landed a ensemble role on FOX's sketch comedy series "MADtv." She was with the show for six seasons giving birth to many unforgettable characters such as Lorraine, Doreen Larkin (Stuart's mother), and Trina. Collins is also known for her celebrity impressions on the show, including Jenny Jones, Cher and Shakira.

Collins also played the recurring roles of Laura in TNT's "Men of a Certain Age," a teacher in Nickelodeon's "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide," and Starla in FOX's "Arrested Development." Guest appearances include "Fresh Off the Boat," "Sullivan & Son," "Chuck," "Suburgatory," "Love Bites," "Modern Family," "According to Jim," "Californication" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm."

In addition Collins created memorable moments in films such as "Dirty Grandpa," starring Robert De Niro and Zac Efron, "The 40-Year-Old Virgin," starring Steve Carell, Catherine Keener and Paul Rudd, and "Knocked Up," starring Seth Rogen and Katherine Heigl.

Collins currently resides in Los Angeles.
