Brazilian born actress Morena Baccarin trained at the prestigious Juilliard School. Morena Baccarin is well known for being cast by writer/director Joss Whedon in his critically acclaimed series "Firefly," as well as its big-screen adaptation, "Serenity." Other television work for Morena Baccarin includes recurring roles on "The O.C.," "Kitchen Confidential," "How I Met Your Mother," "Las Vegas," and starring in the cable series "Heartland." Past theatre credits for Morena Baccarin include "Our House," directed by Michael Mayer, written by Theresa Rebeck, at Playwright's Horizons Theatre; "The Seagull" at the McCarter Theatre; and the independent features "Perfume," "Way Off Broadway" and "Roger Dodger." In 2010, Morena Baccarin can be seen in the feature "Stolen," opposite Josh Lucas and John Hamm.
