Mr. Ping from "Kung Fu Panda 2" is a character in the DreamWorks animated movie voiced by James Hong. Po's adoptive father, Mr. Ping is the proprietor of a top noodle shop. He took Po under his wing as a noodle apprentice before his son was drawn into the world of Kung Fu.

Mr. Ping ("Kung Fu Panda") may have lost his best, and only, employee to Kung Fu greatness, but he couldn't be more proud of his panda son. In fact, Mr. Ping has now decked out his noodle shop in honor of Po's epic exploits. But like any parent left at home, Mr. Ping worries that he's being forgotten.

Therefore, he makes sure to always have extra helpings of bean buns ready to feed the legendary Dragon Warrior whenever he decides to stop by.
