Mosaic from "America's Got Talent" is one of the top 40 acts competing on Season 4 of the NBC talent competition series. Mosaic from "America's Got Talent 4" passed through Las Vegas and has made it into the quarterfinals of the show.

Previously Mosaic was the winner of "MTV's Top Pop Group."

Mosaic is a six-man vocal collaboration that is taking its purely vocal approach to the mainstream. Merging style with innovation, Mosaic will leave you scratching your head wondering where the "band" is because Mosaic uses NO instruments. Every sound is being produced by the human voice—from the guitar riffs and drum fills to the funky bass lines. In singing together for the past five years, Mosaic has impressed audiences across the country. Josh Huslig began the project with a desire to expand the impression that a cappella music is merely the "doo-wop, barbershop" experience. Drawing from multiple influences, Mosaic began pushing the limits of what the human voice is capable of doing and has been amazing audiences ever since. Mosaic has coined the term "vocal band" to describe their sound as they forge a path through this largely untapped genre of music. Mosaic is made up of the vocal talents of Heath Burgett (age 32), Tony Dolendo (36), Sean Gerrity (35), John Gobson (32), Josh Hulis (32) and Corwyn Hodge (37).

Mosaic was formed three years ago by Josh, who found five other guys who shared his passion for singing and wanted to change people's perception of a cappella groups.

Sean graduated from the school of hard knocks, and the brutally honest third tenor and vocal percussionist brings raw emotion to the group. Meanwhile, tenor Corwyn delivers velvety vocals to Mosaic's perfectly blended sound. And Troy sings bottom half and percussion, but he can also throw down some mean b-boy beats!

Born in the country music capital of Nashville, Heath says he brings sheer manliness to the roster. As the group's self-described comedian, Heath defines his vocal role as the "kamikaze." And John is inspired by Prince, Madonna and Stevie Wonder, causing him to inject all sorts of funk into the ensemble.

The men of Mosaicl covered a range of songs on "MTV's Top Pop Group," mixing elements of funk, jazz, hip-hop and even opera to create a winning sound that was all their own.
