In 2000, a documentary crew visited Greenbelt High School in Austin, Texas. To portray the spirit of real American teenagers, they followed students like Steven Foster—"The Overachiever," Jackie Fox—"The Beauty Queen," Ken Finley—"The Nerd," Dawn Barbuso—"The Punk," and—most popular couple, Brenda Serrano—"The Brain" and Anders Holt—"The Rich Kid."
