Nathan Gamble stars in "Dolphin Tale," opposite Harry Connick Jr., Ashley Judd and Morgan Freeman, as Sawyer Nelson. Gamble also recently starred in ABC's comedy "Hank" as Henry Pryor.

Nathan Gamble is barely in his teens but has already worked on a wide range of film and television hits and collaborated with some of the industry's top directors and actors. His introduction into the entertainment business came when he played the role of Mike, Brad Pitt's son, in the Golden Globe-winning picture "Babel." The film's director, Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, discovered Nathan after a nationwide search encompassing more than 20,000 young boys, all eager to play the part. Gamble earned a Young Artist Award nomination for his performance in the film.

Nathan's career soon took off, as he appeared in the feature "Marley & Me," starring Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson, Christopher Nolan's blockbuster hit "The Dark Knight," as Commissioner Gordon's son, Stephen King's thriller "The Mist," opposite Thomas Jane and Marcia Gay Harden and directed by Frank Darabont, Joe Dante's 3-D feature "The Hole" for Bold Films, and and the independent film "25 Hill." He received a second Young Artist Award nomination for his work in "The Mist."

His television credits include The CW series "Runaway," as Donnie Wahlberg's son, and the pilot "Captain Cook's Extraordinary Atlas," directed by Tommy Schlamme for ABC. Nathan has also had guest appearances on "Private Practice." "Ghost Whisperer," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "Without a Trace" and "House."

Gamble lives in Seattle, where he started acting in community theater. He has appeared in productions of "Peter Pan," "Alice in Wonderland" and "Annie."
