'Golden Globe Awards 2010' Nominations



"Up in the Air" and "Glee" set the pace in movies and TV respectively, while films "Nine," "Avatar," and "Inglorious Basterds" and TV shows "30 Rock," "Big Love," "Damages," "Dexter" and "Mad Men" also put in strong showings.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has announced its list nominees for the "67th Annual Golden Globe Awards." Paramount's "Up in the Air" led the way for films with six nominations, including best picture, actor, director, screenplay and two supporting actress mentions. The Weinstein Company's "Nine" was right behind with five nods. "Avatar," "The Hurt Locker," "Inglourious Basterds" and "Precious" joined "Up in the Air" rounded out the motion picture drama category, while "(500) Days of Summer," "The Hangover," "It's Complicated" and "Julie and Julia" joined the list for top comedy-musical picture.

HBO led all television networks with 17 total mentions, but FOX's "Glee" garnered the most nominations of any show with four in all, including comedy-musical, actor, actress and supporting actress categories.



Double nominees included Sandra Bullock for her dramatic performance in "The Blind Side," and her lead comedic turn in "The Proposal"; Meryl Streep for showing off her funny chops in "It's Complicated" and "Julie and Julia"; Matt Damon for lead comedy in "The Informant" and supporting for "Invictus"; and Quentin Tarantino for screenplay and director for "Inglourious Basterds."
