'Entourage' to Premiere on Spike TV
The Emmy award-winning comedy series lands on basic cable for the first time when it premieres on Tuesday, January 12.

NEW YORK, NY—The Emmy, Golden Globe, and Peabody Award-winning series "Entourage" will begin its basic cable run on Spike TV this Tuesday, January 12th with back-to-back episodes starting at 9pm, et/pt. The series will televise in this timeslot through October, and will feature two premiere episodes each week.
Executive produced by Mark Wahlberg, "Entourage" draws on the experiences of Hollywood insiders and stars Adrian Grenier as Vince Chase, a hot young actor who is enjoying life in the limelight. Along for the ride are his fun-loving entourage and best friends from Queens: Eric (Kevin Connolly), half-brother Drama (Kevin Dillon) and Turtle (Jerry Ferrara).
In the pilot episode, actor Vince Chase is living the player's life in L.A as his new movie, "Head On" is set to hit screens across the country. All the while his entourage spends most of their time relaxing at Vince's house in the Hollywood hills, shooting hoops, playing rooftop golf and entertaining ladies at the pool. But in order to keep the lifestyle going, Vince has to keep making movies, and his super agent Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven) thinks he's found just the project, the action film "Matterhorn."
