LOS ANGELES, CA — OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announces three new original series for 2011: "The Judds" with country music legends Naomi and Wynonna Judd, "Carson-Nation" with fashion-and-design expert Carson Kressley, and "Ryan and Tatum: The O'Neals" with father-and-daughter acting dynasty Ryan and Tatum O'Neal

"We're excited these two iconic families are allowing us to chronicle their personal stories as they embark on new chapters.  We think our viewers will relate to the complex and dynamic relationships of Wynonna and Naomi Judd and Ryan and Tatum O'Neal," said Lisa Erspamer, Chief Creative Officer, OWN. She adds, "and Carson's hilarious adventures on the road will entertain and surprise."

"The Judds" follows the lives of Grammy Award winning country music duo Naomi and Wynonna Judd as they prepare for their first tour in ten years together and continue to explore their complex relationship as mother and daughter. "After 25 years of touring, recording and singing the music we love, we are beyond excited to begin this new adventure together and share it with the fans. To have this opportunity is amazing and the OWN Network is the perfect home for us," adds Wynonna and Naomi. In their first television series viewers will get an intimate look at the private lives of one of the most successful music teams in the history of entertainment. After decades of struggle and recovery, Wynonna and Naomi are ready to share their celebrated and complicated lives and as Wynonna says, "the good, the bad, and the ugly" with viewers. Gay Rosenthal Productions, Inc. produces the one-hour series.

In "Carson-Nation," fashion and design expert Carson Kressley ("Your OWN Show" and "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy") travels to small towns throughout the U.S., making viewers' lives better one person at a time.  During these travels, Carson transforms lives with humor and style. Carson says, "Oprah's new network, makeovers, and me? Sounds like a perfect combination! That's why I couldn't be more excited that this show will premiere on the OWN Network. I'll be working my magic coast to coast- next stop, Albuquerque...I can't wait!"  The one-hour series is executive produced by Tom Forman's Relativity REAL LLC.

"Ryan and Tatum: The O'Neals" follows the father and daughter acting dynasty as they reclaim their relationship after being estranged for over 25 years. Tatum says, "We've decided at long last to reconcile our relationship and try to find the peace that all fathers and daughters strive for.  We hope viewers connect to our desire to bring our family back together." After years of family dysfunction, drug use and arrests, both Tatum and Ryan are ready to commit to the healing process that is necessary to bring their family back together. Ryan adds, "It's never too late to get it right, there's always hope." Ryan and Tatum know it's not going to be easy to heal the past, but they hope that sharing their story will show other families that it's never too late to try.  Endemol USA Inc. produces the one-hour series.
