On a night devoid of any real surprises, the Academy of Motion Pictures of Arts and Sciences annointed "The King's Speech" with four major awards including Best Picture, Best Director for Tom Hooper, Best Actor for Colin Firth and Best Original Screenplay for David Seidler. Chris Nolan's "Inception" tied its overall haul, landing all of its four awards in the technical categories of visual effects, cinematography, sound editing and sound mixing. The early awards season favorite, "The Social Network," brought home trophies for original screenplay for Aaron Sorkin, original score and film editing. Darren Aaronofsky's "The Fighter" knocked out the competition for both supporting actor and actress, scoring wins for Christian Bale and Melissa Leo. The animated "Toy Story 3" also won two for Best Animated Feature Film and Best Original Song for Randy Newman's "We Belong Together." The complete list of winners follows.
