'SNL' to Close Out Season with Tina Fey, Ed Helms and Justin Timberlake



The "30 Rock" star returns to studio 8H on May 7, while "The Hangover Part 2" funnyman drops by on May 14, and the pop superstar hosts on May 21.

NEW YORK, NY — "Saturday Night Live" alum Tina Fey returns to studio 8H for her third time as host on May 7. Fey is executive producer, head writer and star of NBC's three-time Emmy Award-winning comedy series "30 Rock." Her performance as Liz Lemon has earned Fey an Emmy Award, two Golden Globes, three SAG Awards and a People's Choice Award. Additionally, Fey's new book "Bossypants" has been number one on the New York Times Best Seller list for the two consecutive weeks since it's release.

Making her musical guest debut on May 7, Ellie Goulding's album, "Lights," premiered at number one on the U.K. album charts and was the best selling debut album of 2010 in Britain. Goulding's sparkling electro-folk-pop sound garnered her a BRIT Award and is already receiving critical acclaim in the US.



Ed Helms, star of the NBC hit comedy "The Office," will make his hosting debut May 14. Helms will next be seen starring with Bradley Cooper and Zach Galifianakis in "The Hangover Part II," the sequel to Todd Phillips' critical and Golden Globe winning "The Hangover."

Alongside Helms, Paul Simon will return for his eighth appearance as musical guest. Simon just released his latest album, "So Beautiful or So What," his first new album in five years. Through his solo and collaborative work, Simon has earned 13 Grammys, including the Lifetime Achievement Award and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Closing out the SNL season, Justin Timberlake will return for his fourth time as host on May 21. The Grammy and Emmy award-winning Timberlake can next be seen alongside Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel in "Bad Teacher," due out June 24 and "Friends With Benefits," also starring Mila Kunis due out July 22.

Lady Gaga will return for her second appearance as musical guest. Gaga's second studio album and third major release "Born This Way" will be released on May 23. Gaga's debut album "The Fame" peaked at number one and spun numerous hit singles including "Bad Romance."

"Saturday Night Live" is produced in association with Broadway Video. The creator and executive producer is Lorne Michaels.
