TBS has ordered a second season of the popular new sitcom "Sullivan & Son." Currently airing Thursdays at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), the comedy is averaging more than 2.5 million viewers in its first season and ranks as one of the Top 25 new summer series on television. TBS has ordered 10 episodes for the second season, which is slated to launch in 2013.

"'Sullivan & Son' has gotten off to a strong start, quickly building its own fan base," said Michael Wright, president, head of programming for TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies (TCM). "We've had a great time working with Steve Byrne, Vince Vaughn, Peter Billingsley, Rob Long and the wonderful cast and crew of 'Sullivan & Son,' and we look forward to seeing the show continue to grow in 2013."

TBS's "Sullivan & Son" stars Steve Byrne as a corporate attorney who finds new life behind the bar when he leaves his Manhattan lifestyle and moves to Pittsburgh to take over his parents' pub. Byrne is joined by a stellar ensemble cast that includes Christine Ebersole, Brian Doyle-Murray, Jodi Long, Valerie Azlynn, Vivian Bang, Owen Benjamin and Dan Lauria. "Sullivan & Son" is executive-produced by Vince Vaughn, Peter Billingsley and showrunner Rob Long. Created by Long and Byrne, "Sullivan & Son" comes to TBS from Wild West Television in association with Warner Horizon Television.

In addition to "Sullivan & Son," TBS's slate of original series includes "Cougar Town," the popular comedy that's moving to TBS, with the premiere set for early 2013. Earlier this summer, TBS renewed the hit series "Men at Work" and launched the second season of the Friday night hit "Tyler Perry's For Better or Worse." In addition, the network's original programming lineup includes the comedy series "Wedding Band," launching in November; the reality-competition show "King of the Nerds," coming in early 2013; and "Who Gets the Last Laugh?" (working title) and "Deon Cole's Black Box" (working title), both slated for 2013. In addition, TBS produces special live comedy events, like the star-studded comedy festival held each year in Chicago.
