Bravo Brings In Banner Ratings for 'The Real Housewives of New York City' and 'The Fashion Show'



2nd season finale of Big Apple show earns its highest ratings ever, while the sartorial premiere builds off "Millionaire Matchmaker" finale.

NEW YORK, NY—In a week full of firsts and exciting finales, Bravo's creative competition and docu-series posted banner ratings. The finale of "The Real Housewives of New York City" earned its highest rated episode ever, "The Millionaire Matchmaker" ended its sophomore season with double digit increases season-over-season, "The Fashion Show" premiere grew from its "Matchmaker" lead-in, and "Make Me A Supermodel" marked double digit increases for its original episode, according to Nielsen Media Research. From Tuesday to Thursday, Bravo's three nights of originals were up 13 percent among adults 18-49 (519,000 vs. 460,000) and up 11 percent among total viewers (754,000 vs. 678,000) versus the prior week in Prime.

The second season of Bravo's "The Real Housewives of New York City" posted its highest rated episode to-date in all metrics, with more than two million total viewers tuning in. The episode was up over 40 percent in all demos versus the season one finale, earning 1.52 million adults 18-49 and 2.03 million total viewers. The second season grew 59 percent in adults 18-49 (1.21 million vs. 764,000) and 62 percent in total viewers (1.67 million vs. 1.03 million) versus the season one average. The series also saw a huge boost online, with traffic on the BravoTV.com show site up across all metrics on finale day, with a 159 percent increase in page views, a 66 percent increase in daily uniques, and a 47 percent increase in video streams compared to the prior episode. The show site also accounted for 66 percent of total traffic on BravoTV.com on finale day.



Additionally, Bravo hosted its first ever live virtual viewing party for the finale, which debuted to record numbers, garnering over one million page views across BravoTV.com and the Bravo WAP site (m.bravotv.com). The viewing party gave fans the chance to voice their opinions on the series through Twitter, Facebook Connect, and live mobile chat and also interact directly with their favorite Housewives. Traffic on BravoTV.com increased 28 percent in unique visitors and 78 percent in page views during the viewing party versus the prior four week time frame. Additionally, Bravo's Twitter participation doubled during the viewing party, with 40 percent of visitors joining the Twitter area during the show.

Growing from its "Matchmaker" finale lead-in, the series premiere of "The Fashion Show" last night delivered 890,000 total viewers and 559,000 adults 18-49. Online, "The Fashion Show" notched the best first day digital results ever of any Bravo series premiere with page views, uniques and video streams outpacing other freshman series by significant margins.

Season two of Bravo's "The Millionaire Matchmaker" ended as the series' highest rated yet, with a season average of one million total viewers and 692,000 adults 18-49, up 13 percent among adults 18-49 and total viewers, versus season one. "Make Me A Supermodel" also saw a ratings surge this week, with a 25 percent increase among adults 18-49 and a 24 percent increase among total viewers versus last week's episode.
