Alexa Vega to Release 'Lost In Your Own Life'
Available on June 30, the new single is inspired by her new ABC Family series, "Ruby & the Rockits."

BURBANK, CA—On June 30th, Hollywood Records will release "Lost In Your Own Life," the new single from actress/singer Alexa Vega, star of the upcoming ABC Family series "Ruby & the Rockits" (premiering July 21 @ 8:30p).
Making her acting debut at age four, Vega got her start in TV but is best known for her role in the successful "Spy Kids" movie trilogy. Her singing credits include the "Spy Kids" soundtracks as well as the indie-slasher movie "REPO! The Genetic Opera." Vega also took a turn on Broadway playing Penny Pingleton in "Hairspray" in 2007.
With a musical theme to the show, Vega can expect to gain valuable advice on-set from co-stars David Cassidy ("The Partridge Family") and Patrick Cassidy ("Smallville") - along with "Ruby's" executive producer Shaun Cassidy.
"Lost In Your Own Life" will be available on iTunes and other digital retailers June 30th and is slated to premiere during the first episode of the "Ruby & the Rockits" series.
