'America's Got Talent' Reveals Top 40 Acts



The acts advancing to the live shows include basketball dunking entertainers, breakdancing rollerskaters, an impersonator, a Bollywood dance group and more.

UNIVERSAL CITY, CA—Last night, NBC's hit summer series "America's Got Talent" announced the Top 40 acts advancing to the live shows which begin next Tuesday, August 4 (9-11 p.m. ET). The very first live results show will air on Wednesday, August 5 (9-10 p.m. ET) and will feature special performances by Mariah Carey and season two winner Terry Fator.

It's now up to America to vote for their favorite performances, ultimately determining which acts advance to the semi-finals. Below please find a list of the Top 40 acts and their hometowns:
