2009 Creative Arts Emmy Awards: Presenters Announced

("Saturday Night Live"), Christian Clemenson ("Boston Legal"), Ted Danson ("Damages"), Lisa Edelstein ("House"), Donald Faison ("Scrubs"), Jerry Ferrara ("Entourage"), Johnny Galecki ("The Big Bang Theory"), Penn Jillette ("Penn & Teller Bull$*it"), John Michael Higgins ("Kath & Kim"), Nigel Lythgoe ("So You Think You Can Dance"), Seth MacFarlane ("Family Guy"), Kathryn Morris ("Cold Case"), Elisabeth Moss ("Mad Men"), Sharon Osbourne ("America's Got Talent"), Andrea Roth ("Rescue Me"), Jamie-Lynn Sigler ("The Sopranos"), Elaine Stritch ("30 Rock"), Mary Lynn Rajskub ("24"), Katey Sagal ("Sons of Anarchy"), Jimmy Smits ("Dexter"), Ashley Tisdale ("Suite Life on Deck"), and Callie Thorne ("Rescue Me") have been confirmed as presenters for the 2009 Creative Arts Emmy Awards, it was announced today by Lee Miller, Steve Venezia, executive producers, and Spike Jones, Jr., producer of the 2009 Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
The ceremony will take place on Saturday, Sept. 12, at the NOKIA Theatre. E! Entertainment Television will air the awards show as a 2-hour special on Friday, Sept. 18, at 1:00 p.m. (ET/PT). Two-time Primetime Emmy Award winner Kathy Griffin ("My Life on the D-List") will host. Carole Propp is coordinating producer, Chris Donovan will direct and Tony DeSena is co-producing.
The 2009 Creative Arts Emmy Awards will award 82 Emmys including those given for Outstanding Guest Actor/Actress in a Comedy Series, Outstanding Guest Actor/Actress in a Drama Series, Outstanding Reality Series and Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Special.
Primetime Emmy Award winner Elaine Stritch will present the prestigious Governors Award to HBO's Sheila Nevins. Nevins is the 15th individual to receive this honor since the awards inception in 1978.
