'Twilight' Hits the App Store
In anticipation of the upcoming release of "The Twilight Saga: New Moon," a tracker app as been released for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

LOS ANGELES, CA—In an effort to further connect the fans of the "Twilight" franchise, Summit Entertainment has launched the first official app for "The Twilight Saga." The Twilight Tracker App enables fans around the world to stay in touch with each other and gain access to content for all movies in "The Twilight Saga" series. It allows users to choose an avatar from among a selection of "The Twilight Saga" characters, talk to other fans by posting "shouts" onto a public message board, and stay up-to-date with the latest news, photos and videos for the movies.
The app also delivers seamless integration with the popular social networks Facebook and Twitter, and will continue to be updated with new features, including the latest information on showtimes, tickets and products for "The Twilight Saga."
The Twilight Tracker App is available for $2.99 from the App Store on iPhone and iPod Touch.
"The Twilight Saga: New Moon" directed by Chris Weitz and starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will be released November 20, 2009. In the film, the romance between mortal and vampire soars to a new level as Bella Swan (Stewart) delves deeper into the mysteries of the supernatural world she yearns to become part of - only to find herself in greater peril than ever before. Following Edward Cullen's (Pattinson) departure from Forks, Washington, Bella discovers his image come to her whenever she puts herself in jeopardy. In time Bella's frozen heart is gradually thawed by her budding relationship with Jacob Black (Lautner) who has a supernatural secret of his own.
