Nicholas Coombe stars in ABC's "Imaginary Mary."

Australian actor Nicholas Coombe was always a creative child and loved music from a young age. He started dancing lessons when he was six years old and continued for eight years. His love for acting was firmly established when he played the role of a "Who" in "Seussical the Musical" in 2006 with Playlovers and then landed the lead role in the musical "Oliver" at Marloo Theatre. He continued to perform in community theater in a variety of roles.

In 2010 Coombe played the lead antagonist in the short film "Good Pretender," which won Best Original Screenplay at the West Australian Screen Awards. In 2011 his parents and younger sister moved to Thailand to work as volunteers in a children's home in Phrae. After volunteering there for three months, he moved in with his grandparents to finish school in Australia. He graduated valedictorian for the Vocational Stream at Carey Baptist College.

In 2013 Coombe starred in short films "Turkish Delight" and "Blue Ball." While filming, he landed the role of Jamie, a Scottish highlander, in "Doctor Who: Resistance," a two-part television movie. He then went to work on the feature films "Infected Paradise," "Paper Planes" and "You Can't play the Game If You Don't Know the Rules." On television, he has guest starred in The CW's "Supernatural" and "iZombie, as well as ABC's "Motive."
