Nikolai Nikolaeff stars in "Camp" on NBC as Wes Carmichael.

Australian actor Nikolai Nikolaeff began his professional acting career at the age of 16 when he landed a lead role in "Crash Zone," a high-tech multimillion-dollar joint venture between the Australian Children's Television Foundation and European-based Beuna Vista International. He is perhaps best known though for playing Leo "2 Dads" Kosov-Meyer from 2009 to 2011 in "Sea Patrol."

Nikolaeff realized early on that he wanted to make a living out of doing what he loved, and started acting at the age of 12. Enrolling himself into the Victorian Youth Theatre, his parents could do little but support his tenacious drive. After hiring himself an agent at 14, he started to audition for roles and two years later, was given his first chance to prove himself.

Filming shows such as "High Flyers" and the well-loved "Round the Twist" helped prepare him for the adult drama roles which began to follow sporadically, including "Blue Heelers," "Stingers" and "Canal Road." He played recurring roles in "Wicked Science" and "The Saddle Club" and was also seen in HBO's miniseries "The Pacific," produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg.

Nikolaeff more recently played a recurring role in "Power Rangers Jungle Fury," filmed in New Zealand with Anna Hutchison ("Underbelly") and appeared in the TV movie "Valentine's Day."

In addition, Nikolaeff was seen in the Australian feature film "The Wedding Party," opposite Isabel Lucas.
