Noah "ND" Brown from "Alaskan Bush People" stars in the Discovery Channel reality docu-series.

Noah "ND" Brown is the fifth-born son of Billy Bryan Brown and Ami Brown. NOah has always been a can-do kind of guy. When he was young, he was one of those kids that took everything apart to see how it worked. What distinguished him from other kids though is that he was able to put whatever it was back together again. By the time he was a teenager, when something broke — be it snow machines or the radar on the boat — his family would call for him.

At home Noah's room looks like a cross between a metal fabrication shop and a science laboratory. He builds robots from scrap down to making his own circuit boards. He would rather study electronic circuitry diagrams than read a book. His first love though is his bow. He started shooting the bow when he was eight or nine years old and found out he had a natural aptitude for it.

Even with everything Noah has going on, he reads two or three books a week — everything from seventeenth-century poetry to physics. He collects the Xanth book series by Piers Anthony, but says his favorite book of all is a sci-fi book written by his father called "N.D. and Ship."

Magic is a favorite past time for Noah. What started as a hobby when he was young, developed into a true slight-of-hand magic act that amazes everyone who sees it.

Noah is not only one of the most serious members of his family, but also one of the biggest cutups and clowns — all rolled into one. Every morning — rain, snow or shine — he's the first up doing Tae Chi on the hill behind the cabin.

Onboard the boat Noah does almost every job there is. He's kind of the throw-around guy because he can do any of the jobs from the deck to the wheelhouse.
