Palmer Williams Jr. is a native of Camden, Alabama, and a graduate of Knoxville College in Tennessee, where he earned a BS in Horticulture. As an entrepreneur, he owns Williams Lawn Care Group, a landscaping company.

Williams has a luxurious stage career. He now has performed in three of Tyler Perry's national touring productions: "Madea's Big Happy Family," "The Marriage Counselor" and "Laugh to Keep from Crying." Following that production, Palmer displayed his God-given talents by directing, writing, and starring in the hit, "Can a Woman Make a Man Lose His Mind?" and "What a Man Wants, What a Woman Needs!" He was featured on Robert Townsend's "Play House 22" on the Black Family Channel.

Williams is also a background singer who has worked with R&B sensations Keith Sweat, LSG, and Grammy Award winner, Monica.
