Paola Turbay plays Cindy Lee on ABC Family's "The Secret Life of the American Teenager." Previously, Paola Turbay starred as Isabel Vega on CBS's "Cane."

Paola Turbay is currently one of the most popular figures in Latin American television. Paola Turbay has had a multi-faceted career on the small screen both behind and in front of the camera - producing, directing, hosting and acting.

A first runner up in the Miss Universe Pageant, Paola Turbay was named "The Queen of the Century" by viewers of the Colombian TV station Caracol. Paola Turbay has hosted the Miss Colombia National Beauty Pageant, as well as popular television shows including "Bailando Por Un Sueño." Paola Turbay served as a correspondent for the QAP news station in Colombia and as a newscaster on "C.M. & News," garnered high ratings for her segment "Secret Things," where she covered politics, economics and entertainment.

Paola Turbay starred in the television series "Las Noches de Luciana" and "Noticias Calientes," both of which aired throughout Latin America and on Univision's Telefutura channel in the U.S. Paola Turbay's other television credits include "Eco Moda," "Leche" and "O Todos en la cama."

Paola Turbay's film credits include "Perder es Cuestión de Método," "Lenny the Wonder Dog" and the upcoming "Love in the Time of Cholera."

An avid philanthropist, Paola Turbay works with the Red Cross, World Vision, Lion's Club, Rotary Club, Eudes and the Sanar Foundation among others.

A native of Houston, Texas, raised in Bogota, Colombia, Paola Turbay now lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.
