Peggy Hauser from "Black Gold" stars in the truTV reality series.
Peggy Hauser is a rancher and the owner of the land on which the Big Dog Drilling Company is currently working. She has a strong emotional attachment to her property, which belonged to her late father. When Autry Stephens tells her there is a lot of untapped oil under her property, Peggy gives him and his crew six weeks to tap it. If they don't find anything by then, she's throwing them out. Peggy also fears that the actual process of drilling and heavy machinery will destroy her land and her cattle. Those fears become reality when the roughnecks prove themselves messy and often disrespectful. So before things get out of hand, Peggy takes charge. She lays down strict rules about what can and cannot be done on her land, making life nearly impossible for Autry and the roughnecks.
