Penelope Mitchell stars in "Hemlock Grove" on Netflix as Letha Godfrey.

Australian actress Penelope Mitchell has been acting for several years. On television in her home country, she starred in the reality series "Next Stop Hollywood" and hosted the children's series "Toon Time." She also appeared in episodes of "Offspring" and "Rush."

On the big screen, she was seen in the Aussie films "6 Plots" and "The Joe Manifesto."

Penelope studied journalism and literature at Melbourne University and first traveled to the U.S. while studying. "I went there in my first year of uni and I wanted to be a journalist at that stage, so I kind of headed straight for San Francisco with my like beret and various beatnik outfits wanting to be Hunter S. Thompson," she laughs.
