Alimi Ballard was in the series "Dark Angel" and "American Dreams." Alimi Ballard's other television credits include "Arsenio," and guest spots on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and "Nash Bridges," for the Network, "NYPD Blue," "Boomtown," "Philly," "She Spies," "The Division," "For the People" and the movie "The Little Richard Story." Alimi Ballard's first television role was in the daytime drama "Loving."
Alimi Ballard's feature film credits include "Men of Honor" and "Deep Impact."
Alimi Ballard got his start in acting in a local community center, when he was cast in the play "No Laughing Matter." Weeks later, Alimi Ballard began touring New York's inner-city libraries, community centers and elementary and high schools. Alimi Ballard then began working with theater companies such as the Manhattan Theater Club and the National Black Theater, where he starred in acclaimed productions of "Holiday Heart" and "Endangered Species."
Alimi Ballard lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Dawn, and daughter, Naya.
