The often flamboyant and irreverant actor/stand-up comic Ant (Anthony Steven Kalloniatis) is the host of VH1's " Celebrity Fit Club." Hyper, irreverent, and "...so gay, I can put a lisp in the word 'cracker'", the man simply named Ant first decided he wanted to become a comedian when he saw Whoopi Goldberg's one-woman show on HBO. After finding success in the comedy clubs of New England, the native from Londonderry, New Hampshire, decided to move to Los Angeles in 1989, hoping he would be noticed by the film and television industries. It didn't take long. Appearances on The WB's "The Jamie Foxx Show" and "For Your Love," E!'s "Talk Soup," and a monthly co-hosting gig on the syndicated "Ricki Lake Show" kick-started the comedian's career and lead to Ant being the only comedian to appear on each of the first three seasons of NBC's smash hit "Last Comic Standing."
