Autumn Reeser stars as Phoebe Valentine on The CW's new Sunday night dramedy, "Valentine."
Autumn Reeser also stars in MTV's made-for-TV musical, "The American Mall," which is from the producers of Disney's "High School Musical" films. The romantic comedy is set at a mall and focused on the relationship between two young musicians and their respective personal and professional struggles.Autumn Reeser plays Madison Huxley, the scheming daughter of the mall owner who intends to open her own clothing boutique.
Autumn Reeser is best known for her starring role in the FOX hit series "The O.C." Critics buzzed about her work as ambitious and self-righteous teen queen Taylor Townsend in the show's final two seasons.
Autumn Reeser will also soon be seen starring in the horror film "Lost Boys 2: The Tribe," the sequel to the 1987 film "The Lost Boys." In addition, Autumn Reeser is now in production on the independent film "Possessions" which is set to be released in 2009.
Autumn Reeser will also soon been seen as a guest star on ABC's critically acclaimed series "Pushing Daisies." Autumn Reeser's additional television credits include the ABC Family film "Nature of the Beast," "Ghost Whisperer," "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," "Star Trek: Voyager," "CSI" and "Cold Case." Autumn Reeser's recurring roles include "The George Lopez Show," and ABC's Mel Gibson-directed sitcom "Complete Savages."
In addition, Autumn Reeser appeared in a number of independent films. In "Americanese," Autumn Reeser stars a college student infatuated with her Asian Studies professor. "Palo Alto" follows a group of college freshman who return home for Thanksgiving break. The cast includes Tom Arnold, Ben Savage, and Johnny Lewis. The film premiered at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival. In "Our Very Own," Autumn Reeser leads the cast as a starry-eyed, small-town Southern girl obsessed with making it to the big screen. Her costars include Jason Ritter, Allison Janney, and Keith Carradine. The film won the Best Ensemble Acting award at the 2006 Saratoga Film Festival. Autumn Reeser was also seen in "The Girl Next Door."
Autumn Reeser was raised in Carlsbad, California, and spent her childhood developing a solid foundation for her acting career by playing a wide variety of characters in local musical theater productions from the ages of 7 to 17. After high school, Autumn Reeser enrolled in UCLA's competitive theater program. Autumn Reeser began her freshman year there in the fall of 1998. Autumn Reeser spent the next three years immersed in the acting world, studying theater history, acting technique, dance, voice and movement. Autumn Reeser also interned at a casting director's office. Meanwhile, Autumn Reeser paid her bills by working the graveyard shift at Jerry's Famous Deli in Westwood, California.
Currently, Autumn Reeser lives in Hollywood with her fiance, director/writer Jesse Warren, and their papillon dog Gatsby. In her free-time, Autumn Reeser loves to dance, sing, cook, paint and throw parties. She's also an avid scrapbooker and photographer.
