Bruno Campos plays Dr. Quentin Costa on FX Network's "Nip/Tuck," a highly skilled, enigmatic and confident plastic surgeon. In Season 3, Quentin traveled from Atlanta to Miami to repair the slashed face of Dr. Sean McNamara, who was a victim of the serial attacker known as 'The Carver.' Though best known for his role as Christina Applegate's boyfriend on the hit NBC comedy Jesse – for which he received a 1999 Alma Award for Outstanding Actor – Bruno Campos' background is eclectic. Born in Rio De Janeiro, Bruno Campos was raised in several countries due to his father's work as an international banker. At just 14, Bruno Campos left home to study acting at Michigan's prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Performance Studies from Northwestern University. In 1996, Bruno Campos starred in the Oscar-nominated Foreign Language film "O Quatrilho," which was produced and directed by Brazil's legendary Barreto family. That same year, Bruno Campos played the lead role in Shakespeare's "All's Well That Ends Well," which was directed by Tony Award-winner Mary Zimmerman for Chicago's renowned Goodman Theatre.
Bruno Campos' impressive list of credits includes roles on NBC's "Will & Grace" and ER, ABC's "Boston Legal" and the Showtime series Leap Years. Bruno Campos most recently started in ABC's acclaimed political drama "The D.A." with Felicity Huffman, which marked his first collaboration with "Nip/Tuck" executive producers Michael Robin and Greer Shephard.
