Chris Lowell stars as Dell on ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" spin-off, "Private Practice."
Chris Lowell was born on October 17, 1984. Chris Lowell attended the Atlanta International School where he studied drama and played Romeo in a school production of Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet." Currently, Chris Lowell goes to the University of Southern California where he was discovered in his first year, while playing beach volleyball.
Chris Lowell's first big break was in landing a series regular role on the drama series "Life As We Know It." Chris Lowell was next cast as Stosh "Piz" Piznarski on the third season of The CW's "Veronica Mars."
Chris Lowell is also the vocalist for the indie band "Two Shots for Poe." The band went on tour in summer, 2006, going back and forth from Atlanta to Montreal with only $200 in their pockets. A documentary of the tour is forthcoming as a series of internet webisodes.
