Emily Osment stars as adventurous Lilly Truscott, Miley's best friend and Hannah's biggest fan, on Disney Channel original series "Hannah Montana."
Born on March 10, 1992 in Los Angeles, Emily Osment was reared in a family of actors. Emily Osment's father Eugene has appeared in numerous television and film productions and her older brother is Haley Joel, also an actor.
Emily Osment booked her first commercial acting job at age 5 and from there starred in numerous commercials before landing a role in the feature film "The Secret Life of Girls." Since then, Emily Osment co-starred in the television movie "Sarah, Plain and Tall: Winters End" with Glenn Close and Christopher Walken. Emily Osment's additional television credits include guest appearances on "Friends," "Third Rock From the Sun" and "Touched by an Angel." Emily Osment earned the attention of movie audiences with her role as Gerti Giggles in "Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams" and "Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over." Emily Osment also lends her voice to the animated features "Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch has a Glitch," "The Hunchback of Notre Dame II," "Jungle Book 2" and "Edward Fuddwupper Fibbed Big" with her brother.
When not acting, Emily Osment snowboards, plays guitar, writes songs, reads poetry and hangs out with friends. Emily Osment also enjoys knitting and sewing scarves and clothes. Emily Osment lives in Los Angeles and has two golden retrievers, Tor and Nado.
