Jason Earles stars as Miley's older brother Jackson, who uses his connection with Hannah Montana to impress the girls, in the Disney Channel original series "Hannah Montana."
Born in San Diego on April 26, Jason Earles lived in Ohio and Washington before his family settled in Portland, Oregon. The middle of four brothers and a sister, Jason Earles gravitated towards acting as a way to stand out from his siblings. Jason Earles started in the third grade production of "Hansel & Gretel," and from there, he starred in various school, community and summer theatre productions. After high school, Jason Earles toured with the Montana Shakespeare in the Park theatre group before moving to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.
On television, Jason Earles has a recurring role on Disney Channel's "Phil of the Future" and guest starred on "The Shield," "One on One," "Still Standing" and "Mad TV." Jason Earles co-stars in the feature films "National Treasure," "American Pie: Band Camp" and "Special Ed." Jason Earles also starred in numerous stage productions, including "Twelfth Night," "The Tempest," "Pinocchio," "Tom Sawyer" and "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest."
An avid video game player, Jason Earles also enjoys watching sports especially baseball and the Seattle Mariners. Jason Earles resides in Los Angeles with his two cats, Presley and Timmy.
