Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and raised in Norwalk, Iowa, Jason Momoa is an actor, artist and writer who was cast in his television debut as a series regular on the popular syndicated show "Baywatch: Hawaii." In 2003, Jason Momoa relocated to Australia, a move that inspired him to pursue and develop his interests as an artist. Jason Momoa has since had two art shows -- one in Hawaii and one in Australia.
Jason Momoa made his feature film debut in "Johnson Family Vacation" and was a series regular on the television drama series "North Shore," playing the character of "Frankie Seau." Other credits for Jason Momoa include the Fox television special "Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding" and the telefilm "Tempted."
Jason Momoa currently splits his time between Los Angeles and Vancouver.
