A 2005 Golden Globe and Emmy nominee for his portrayal of slick-talking agent, Ari Gold, on HBO's "Entourage," Jeremy Piven has acted in over 40 films. Jeremy Piven recently received a 2005 Distinguished Performance Honor from the Drama League for his performance as 'Tom' in the off-Broadway hit, "Fat Pig" by Neil LaBute, in which he starred opposite Keri Russell and Andrew McCarthy.
Jeremy Piven can also be seen starring opposite Al Pacino and Matthew McConaughey in Universal's "For the Money," and starred in "Lucky 13," a comedy about the competitive world of lavish Bar Mitzvahs, which received the Audience Award at the 2005 Comedy Arts Festival.
Jeremy Piven's other memorable big screen roles include "Chasing Liberty," "Scary Movie 3," "Runaway Jury," "Old School," "Serendipity," "Black Hawk Down," "Very Bad Things," "Rush Hour 2" and "The Family Man." On the small screen, Jeremy Piven was a series regular on "Cupid" and "Ellen" and appeared on "The Larry Sanders Show."
Jeremy Piven was born and raised in Chicago, where his parents founded the Piven Theatre Workshop. His father, Byrne, taught the likes of John and Joan Cusack, Roseanna Arquette and Aidan Quinn. Jeremy Piven is still very active with this Theatre and returns to Chicago frequently to help keep his father's dream alive. Jeremy Piven currently resides in Malibu, California.
