Kyle Chandler was born in Buffalo, New York, and raised in Loganville, a small farming community in Georgia. Shortly after being spotted by a talent scout, Kyle Chandler made his move to Los Angeles where he immediately landed leading roles in television.
Most recently, Kyle Chandler was seen in the hit medical drama "Grey's Anatomy" and as Grant in NBC's "The Lyons Den" starring opposite Rob Lowe. Kyle Chandler earned critical reviews for his portrayal of Jeff Metcalf in the acclaimed series "Homefront," and gained national recognition for his work as the lead role on "Early Edition." Kyle Chandler's other television appearances include a lead role on "What About Joan," "And Starring Pancho Villa as Himself" and "China Beach."
In film, Kyle Chandler's credits include the box-office hit "King Kong," "Mullholland Falls," "Angel's Dance," "Pure Country," and "The Color of Evening."
On Broadway, Kyle Chandler appeared as Hal Carter in "Picnic," opposite Ashley Judd.
A drama graduate from the University of Georgia, Kyle Chandler currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two daughters. His birthday is September 17.
