Maiara Walsh's (pronounced my-AH-ta) credits include a co-starring role in the series "Unfabulous;" roles in the feature "Lullaby Before I Wake;" and starring roles in the plays "The Crucible" (Royal Drama Department) and "King Tut's Tomb" (Sinaloa Productions).
Maiara Walsh is half Brazilian and speaks Spanish and Portuguese in addition to English. Maiara Walsh's ear for language has made it easy for her to mimic all types of accents although she devised the one she uses for her character on "Cory in the House." Maiara Walsh and her family take annual vacations to Brazil to visit her large extended family.
The Simi Valley, California, native celebrates her birthday on February 18 and lives with her parents and sister in the San Fernando Valley. In her spare time Maiara Walsh enjoys hiking, drawing, singing, dancing and surfing. Maiara Walsh has been accepted to the University of California at Irvine and meanwhile, takes classes online.
