Matthew Davis received critical acclaim for his edgy, breakout performance as an aspiring writer who gets shipped off to war in Joel Schumacher's "Tigerland," in which he starred alongside Colin Farrell. Matthew Davis then starred in MGM's comedy hit "Legally Blonde" as Reese Witherspoon's "boyfriend-you love-to-hate."
Further adding to his reputation as a big screen heartthrob was Matthew Davis' starring role as a pro-football quarterback opposite Kate Bosworth in the surf romance "Blue Crush." Matthew Davis made a bold departure from such roles in the Merchant/Ivory production of "Heights," starring opposite Elizabeth Banks, James Marsden and Jesse Bradford.
Born in Salt Lake City, Matthew Davis served a short stint in New York theatre and made his feature film debut in "Urban Legends: Final Cut." Matthew Davis' other credits include "Below," "Lone Star State of Mind," "Pearl Harbor" and "Bloodrayne."
Matt Davis resides in Los Angeles with his two red-nosed pitbulls.
