Mädchen Amick stars on NBC's "My Own Worst Enemy," playing the part of Henry Spivey's wife, Angie. Mädchen Amick also starred as Natalie on CBS's "Viva Laughlin."
Mädchen Amick's career began with guest-starring roles in the TV series "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and "Baywatch." Madchen Amick's first starring role was in the low-budget TV horror movie "I'm Dangerous Tonight." Those performances led David Lynch to cast her in 1990 in the role of waitress Shelly Johnson in the cult TV series "Twin Peaks." Mädchen Amick followed the success of "Twin Peaks" with a challenging and seductive role in the feature film, "Dream Lover," a thriller in which she co-starred with James Spader. It is one of the few films to showcase her awesome ability to portray a complex character. Roger Ebert called her performance "perfect," and said that he expected to "see more great things from this talented actress." Mädchen Amick's other feature film credits include Stephen King's "Sleepwalkers," "Trapped in Paradise" opposite Nicolas Cage and "Scenes of the Crime" with Jeff Bridges. Mädchen Amick has a wide array of television credits ranging from CBS's "Central Park West," "Fantasy Island," and "Freddie" to NBC dramas "ER" and "Law & Order," to the quirky comedies "The Gilmore Girls" and NBC's "Ed." Mädchen Amick's upcoming credits include a role on "Californication" opposite David Duchovny and "Gossip Girl" opposite Chace Cawford. Success arrived early for Amick, when at the age of sixteen and with her parents' blessing, Mädchen Amick dropped out of school and moved to Los Angeles, where she found work in modeling and music videos. Mädchen Amick divides her time between New York and Los Angeles. Mädchen Amick is married with two children.
