Melora Hardin portrays Jan Levinson, Dunder Mifflin's rigid corporate boss in NBC's "The Office." Jan often finds herself having to fend off Michael Scott's (Golden Globe winner Steve Carell) inappropriate romantic advances, while at the same time struggling to assert her authority as his supervisor.
Melora Hardin has been acting, singing and dancing since childhood. Melora Hardin's feature film credits include the recently released "Thank You for Smoking," "The Hot Chick," "Absolute Power," opposite Clint Eastwood and Gene Hackman and "Soul Man." Melora Hardin can also be seen in the upcoming horror film "Hellaburger," and will make her directorial debut with the independent film "You," out this summer. Additionally, Melora Hardin has appeared in television shows such as "Monk," as Monk's (Tony Shalhoub) dead wife, the series "Dirty Dancing," and "Cover Me."
Melora Hardin currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband actor/writer Gildart Jackson and their two young daughters.
