Miguel Ferrer plays Jonas on NBC's "Bionic Woman."
Miguel Ferrer is a multi-faceted talent whose career spans film, television, stage and music. Miguel Ferrer most recently portrayed Dr. Garret Macy on the hit drama "Crossing Jordan" for the past six years.
Miguel Ferrer grew up as part of a Hollywood family; he is the son of actor Jose Ferrer and singer Rosemary Clooney. Miguel Ferrer first attracted audience attention with a breakout performance in the feature film "Robocop." Miguel Ferrer went on to garner critical acclaim for his portrayal of an FBI forensic expert in David Lynch's cult hit TV series "Twin Peaks." In 2000, Miguel Ferrer delivered a standout performance as a drug dealer-turned-informant in Steven Soderbergh's Oscar-winning film "Traffic."
In 2004, Miguel Ferrer starred in Jonathan Demme's remake of "The Manchurian Candidate," and appeared alongside Meryl Streep and Denzel Washington in John Sayles' "Silver City" with Chris Cooper and Richard Dreyfuss.
Miguel Ferrer's other film credits include John Badham's "Another Stakeout," Tony Scott's "Revenge," "Stephen King's "The Night Flier," "Where's Marlow?," "The Harvest" and "Blank Check." Miguel Ferrer also used his voice for Disney's "Mulan." Miguel Ferrer's television appearances include the Emmy Award-winning miniseries "Stephen King's The Stand," and "Drug Wars: The Camarena Story." Miguel Ferrer also starred in the comedy series "Lateline," opposite Al Franken and made memorable guest-star appearances on "Will & Grace" and the pilot for "ER."
Miguel Ferrer made his New York stage debut in 2004, in the off-Broadway production of "The Exonerated," directed by Bob Balaban.
In addition, Miguel Ferrer added yet another aspect to his resume, working behind the camera directing several episodes of "Crossing Jordan."
A sports enthusiast, Miguel Ferrer is an accomplished equestrian who also enjoys playing golf and skiing. Miguel Ferrer is a philanthropist who dedicates his time to a number of charities, most notably the LAPD Memorial Foundation. Miguel Ferrer recently used his cerebral talents on "Celebrity Jeopardy" and earned an impressive $50,000 for the foundation.
Miguel Ferrer currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and their sons.
